How our skill-sharing model works for local charities & organisations:

Partner local charities receive access to The Social Society’s community of highly skilled, highly kind, members for one year.

The Social Society’s bespoke database allows charities to search for local volunteers by skill set, location, availability and other unique metrics.

We run spring, summer, autumn and winter placement programmes – up to three months of assistance so our local volunteering legends can get their teeth into a project.

The amount of assistance is volunteer-dependent. It could be regular weekly slots or one-off “quick wins” sessions.

Each charity gets immediate access to The Social Society Fund.

We provide a sustainable method of support and want to see local charities doing what they do best - changing and saving lives.

Where do The Social Society have charities and local volunteers?

After planting roots in our Brighton hometown, The Social Society is expanding across the UK and Europe in 2022.

We have partner local charities in each of the following cities:

Bournemouth, Devon, Cornwall, Bristol, Brighton, Birmingham, Lincoln, York, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Belfast and Berlin.
