A one-day festival for good people doing good things.

19th September 2025
Crockstead Fields, Eastbourne Road, Halland, BN8 6PT
A small field. A big heart.

We’re gathering. Not everyone - just the right people.
People who want to slow down, connect deeply, and do something meaningful.

There’ll be food, fire, music, art, and conversation but more than that, there’ll be space:

To listen. To give back. To feel like you belong.
This isn’t a loud, crowded festival.

It’s an intentional day, built by the community, for the community.

Wellness

A nature connection workshop to explore how our relationship with nature can help us be more grounded, aware and compassionate towards the 'more the human' world. We'll find new ways to experience ourselves as part of nature through movement, breath and playful practice.

Luke Wright

Spoken Word

Fun + filthy poems from someone who knows what they’re doing. If there were any justice he’d be Poet Laureate, or King.

A sticky-floored celebration of the ordinary. Wright conjures up a world of Tuesday lunchtimes and small town boozers in poems that burst with inventive language, sonic trickery, and big-hearted storytelling.

“A streetwise panache and a sardonic comic verve to rival Stewart Lee.” ★★★★★ Telegraph

“Honesty, humour, ire and wonder.” ★★★★★ Stage

“His poems shoot arrows through the heart” ★★★★ List

Care 4 Basket

These women, whose livelihoods are increasingly affected by climate change and drought, are supported to recycle discarded plastic bags into hand-woven baskets and household products. The plastic bags are collected, cleaned, cut into strips, and twisted into strands that resemble traditional straw, before being woven into unique, colourful, and sustainable baskets.

We’re creating a space that makes it easy to connect with purpose and each other.

One day to eat, gather, give back… and keep the spark going.

How It Works

You keep doing good after.
You’ll get access to The Social Society’s national volunteer community, where we match you with local causes based on your skills, interests, and availability.

No gatekeeping. Just real, useful impact.
